Terms
The deal, in short.
Using Chitemere Eats means agreeing to what follows. It is deliberately short, and it says what we owe you as much as what you owe us.

Who you are dealing with
Chitemere Eats is a venture of Chitemere Group, trading from Chegutu, Zimbabwe. When this page says "we", that is who it means.
Your account
One account signs you in across the group. Keep the password to yourself; anything done from your account we will treat as done by you. If you think somebody else has it, reset it immediately and tell us.
We can close an account that is being used to defraud us, to abuse staff, or to place orders nobody intends to collect. That is the whole list.
Placing an order
Sending an order is you asking us for prepared food and drinks. It becomes a deal when we confirm it, not the moment you press the button — until then we may be out of something, or the price may have moved.
We will always tell you before anything is charged or set aside for you. Nothing on this site takes money automatically.
Prices
Menu prices are per plate and can shift with the market. Big orders get confirmed with a call.
If a price on the site is plainly wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, something listed far below cost — we will tell you and cancel rather than hold you to it or quietly charge you more.
What we ask of you
- Give us details that are true, especially the ones we need to reach you.
- Do not try to break, scrape, overload or pick the locks on this site.
- Do not order under someone else’s name or use the shop to launder anything.
- Treat the people on the other end of the messages like people.
The site itself
The words, pictures, artwork and code here belong to us. Read them, share a link, screenshot a plate — all fine. Wholesale copying to run a competing shop is not.
We will keep the site up as best we can, but it may go down for maintenance or for reasons at our host’s end. We do not promise it will never be unavailable.
When something goes wrong
If we get an order wrong, we fix the order — see the returns page for exactly how. What we will not accept is liability for knock-on losses we could not have seen coming: a missed function, lost earnings, a spoiled occasion. Our responsibility is the value of what you ordered.
Nothing here removes rights the law gives you that cannot be signed away.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe deal with any dispute under them.
Changes
We may revise this page. The date at the top tells you when it last moved. Carrying on using the site after that is how you accept the new version.
